RECOMMENDED CONFERENCE HOTEL

The Marriott Tacoma Downtown is the preferred hotel of the Green Transportation Summit & Expo. The Marriott offers modern rooms, parking, onsite dining, and is next door to the Greater Tacoma Convention Center.
There is a special room rate for GTSE attendees but act fast before they're gone.
PARKING & DIRECTIONS
From I-5 Southbound/Northbound:
Take Exit 133 (City Center Exit) toward I-705/ City Center.
Keep LEFT toward I-705/ City Center.
Turn LEFT onto ramp toward A Street/ City Center.
Keep LEFT to stay on ramp toward S. 15th Street/ Pacific Avenue.
Follow S. 15th Street two blocks, the Convention Center will be on your left.
To access onsite parking, turn LEFT on Court C.
Accessible parking is available in Parking Lot A garage on a first come, first serve basis, and can be accessed via the ramp from Commerce Street.

Alternate Off-Site Parking options include street parking, downtown Tacoma parking lots, Republic Parking NW lots, Diamond Parking lots, and the Tacoma Dome Station Transit Garage serviced by Link Light Rail.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are located at the GTCTC in Parking Lot A. To utilize a charging station, you must pay for parking within the lot separately. View our Sustainability Page for more information on charging stations and fees.
EV Chargers are available in the University of Washington, Tacoma Campus parking garage next to the Tioga Library. See a map here

Just 20 miles south of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the Greater Tacoma Convention Center is one of the largest meeting locations in the Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by natural beauty, the Convention Center offers an impressive selection of usable event space.

Convention Center Sustainability
The Greater Tacoma Convention Center strives to make meeting experiences as green and sustainable as possible in their day-to-day operations, from sourcing local foods whenever possible to use environmentally friendly cleaning products in 90% of the building. View their Green Sheet to learn more about their standard and available green initiatives, including a Sustainability Station, recycling and composting efforts, lighting and energy controls, water-saving bathrooms, recycled carpet, and Dyson Airblade hand dryers.
Tacoma's Free Link Light Rail runs frequently throughout the downtown corridor with a stop located just outside the Convention Center on Commerce Street.
LeMay- America's Car Museum
LeMay – America’s Car Museum, a member of America’s Automotive Trust, is an international destination for families and auto enthusiasts to celebrate America’s love affair with the automobile and learn how it shaped our society. Based in Tacoma, Wash., the stunning 165,000-sq.-ft. facility has been recognized as one of MSN’s 10 Best Automotive Museums worldwide, USA Today’s 10 Best Museums in Seattle and KING5’s Best Museum in Western Washington. ACM serves as an educational center for students of all ages, features 12 rotating exhibits.
